Staying Out For The Summer

We recently produced this promotional brand film for O’Neill. Taking in the last day of summer, four boys go out on the water in search of adventure. Produced by Creative Bone and directed by Alessandra Scherillo.

Stronger Together…

Endoline wanted to produce a promo video that announced the arrival of Endoline Robotics, a new sister venture in partnership with Fanuc, a key provider of robotics systems. The ethos of the film was to show that strong partnerships can create exciting an new opportunities. We sprinkled in a bit of sci-fi magic and the end result was very well received.

Best man for the job

When Dan Yellop came to us with the small task of creating an animated best man’s speech, it was definitely one of the funniest projects we had been asked to work on. Dan wanted to create a lasting impression on the bride and groom and give them the gift that keeps on giving for years to come. We were tasked with turning tales of his and the grooms days of growing up and producing a 5 minute film that would both entertain, shock and surprise the bride and groom as well as all the guests. We delivered a film that hit all those point and although very close to the knuckle, the film went down a storm. The groom quoted “ It’s the best , best man speech ever”, although we suspect he was slightly biased. None the less, a great little job that went down a storm.

Romance Never Grows Old

We continued our working relationship with super talented director Alessandra Scherillo, with this classy brand film for Age Concern. The emphasis of the film was to show that romance never grows old and that no matter how old, ethnicity or sexual preference you are, the ability to meet somebody and fall in love never dies.

We undertook all editing, grading and CG work in what really is an outstanding and moving film.

Dead Squad Trailer Hits….

The trailer has now landed for ‘Dead Squad’, the throw back horror film we have been co-producing and working on for over a year now. Directed by our good friend Dominik Hauser and shot at Movie Studio Bali last year, we have been heavily involved in this low budget, old school horror movie since its very beginning.

Starring Conan Stevens ( Game of Thrones) and Amazon Eve ( American Horror Freak Show), a group of friends discover an old temple hidden in the depths of the jungle. Unknown to our heroes is that evil Nazi scientists were experimenting on prisoners in the hope of creating the ultimate solider. The only success was in creating a squad of deadly zombies…..

The movie is due for release on 23rd October 2018 and once it does we will be showcasing a lot of the behind the scenes work we completed to help make the movie as camptastic as possible.

Keep your eyes peeled!

Bringing Dead Squad poster to life….

We have been working on Dead Squad for well over a year now and are really looking forward to sharing some of the behind the scenes adventures we have been having. In the meantime we have  the new poster for the movie which has a release date of October 23rd 2018.

We worked up quite a few posters for the movie, with the director and distributors going for a polish on one of our initial concept designs. David turned out a fantastic piece based on Joe’s concept work, my idea and John’s initial sketch, this really was a collaborative effort that really brings the elements to life and delivers a movie poster design that captures the mystery of the films narrative and the impending doom that awaits our heroes.

We hope you like!

Big Screen Service For A Dark Night….

We produced this film for Uniled – a leading provider of digital signage service and repair in the UK.

An underlying narrative tells the story of a young boy who views a digital signage screen from his apartment building everyday until one evening the screen malfunctions. Through the animated medium, stylised to show the only colour on offer is that provided by the screens themselves, we show the vast numbers of repairs required throughout the city and how fast, capable and reliant Uniled are in their service. The film culminates in the young boy watching as the screen comes back to life and his obsession becomes apparent.

This film was a complicated piece as there was a narrative that had to flow under a driven corporate message. A lot of artwork was needed to create a parallax environment that kept the camera moving and a murky colour palette that is juxtaposed by the bright colours of the screens that continue to burn through the night with the help of Uniled’s exceptional services.

Duck Tales – Cutting the commercial.

Creative Bone worked with Director Alesandra Scherillo of Twinset films to create this commercial for Italian luggage designer Mandarina Duck. We spent two days cutting the commercial after an energetic shoot that tells the tale of a young girls adventure through London. An organic handheld vibe that follows our adventurer in an almost fly on the wall style, the finished result is a cute but punchy exploration of the city through the eyes of a young teen armed with all she needs in her trusty Mandarina Duck rucksack.
